Hi Al,

Lacquer works really well, just brush in on. The Lacquer dissipates and takes with it the pencil marks and there is no odor.

  Hello Everyone,

  How do you get pencil marks off of a carving???  Have tried alcohol, and soap and water-- neither of which worked.  Thank you very much for any and all responses.

  Been having alot of questions arising lately because I am finally able to get down into my shop to do some carving (or is it "corving").  Sorry, Jan!!!   It is very nice to have this list available because the answer is always just an e-mail away.  Thanks very much for taking the time to answer!!!!
