I have used them for about 20 years with no problems at all. They are not as heavy as a Taylor or even Ashley Isles, but for hand work I cannot flaw them. I have not had an occasion to buy any in as many years so my reference, is to the ones produced 20 years ago.
Much changes with time. I have stayed with the Swiss tools for the micro size. Just a physical preference really.
Good luck,

Subject: Tools
Hi Everyone,
This is my first posting.
I am thinking of buying some Lamp Brand tools from Wood Carvers Supply Inc. I am up in the air as to the quality of the tools. Anyone have any experience with the tools? I am lookig to beef up my basic set with another 12 to 24 tools. I also want some micro tools. Any Ideas....
Regards and
Happy Carving
Lenny
