YES, Dick!!! And didn't you want to be the one to pass out the papers
so you could get the best whiff!

Talking about 'back in the old days' and this group of youngin's we are
raising, my son, the College Student does not know how to use a hardcopy
dictionary. All his life he has only needed to click the spell checker.
So he actually has no idea how to sound out a word, make a guess at it's
correct spelling, then go search for it in The Book. He's road kill if
they ever decide to drop the spell checker program from computers!

Anyway, the biggest question we get on the wood site is 'how do you get
the pattern onto the piece of wood'. Which then means explaining carbon
paper, penciling the back of the pattern, using newspaper, or going with
dress makers carbon. We had one nice person e-mail and ask ... And this
is not an exaggeration ... "How do I feed the board through my printer?"
Talk about teaching the basics.

We must be of the same vintage... The more copies that you wanted, the
harder you had to hit the keys.

My sons were complaining about their weekly tests in school & I told
them
the only 'good' thing about those tests was smelling the mimeograph
paper
before the test. They didn't have a clue what I was talking about.
