Hi all,
I've been enjoying your exchanges. Does or did anyone know Keith Stevens in
Ashland, Mont? He ranched there and was the first bird carver I knew. But
that was quite a few years ago. He was also a pilot. He did beautiful
birds, with feathers that looked incredibly real and soft. I remember him
telling me that he got that irridescent look of a mallard's head, that
looked purple blue one way and the green if you moved. He said he painted
the one color then went over with the other. Theylooked absolutely real. He
went to shows in Montana, and I don't know where else.

Anyway, I added some pictures to my family.com album. One of my dog who is
much better looking than I am. some letter openers which make great
Christmas gifts and a good way to use up the little odds and ends.
Lon, I'm really looking forward to meeting you and Mary next week. And of
course, Pepper.

Cynda
