[Woodcarver] Athena carving

Just an update on this Santa Carver's latest commission.  The carving on 
Athena is complete...today she's getting bleached.  Last night I uploaded 3 
new pictures to my webshots "Athena3"

She's 18" tall, the base is 6".  Since this will be a trophy for a college 
football rivalry there will be a brass plate attached to the front of the 
base.  Once the bleach is dry I'll gold leaf the shield, spear point and 
helmet. The Athena and Athena2 albums on webshots document the progress of 
the carving from sketch up to this point....a feature my client has really 
appreciated.  Now I have to get back to carving Santas for the big gallery 
opening this weekend.

Thanks to everyone for the support I received on this project after my 
first posting a couple of weeks ago.  It helped when I was feeling like I 
might have gotten in over my head on this one! :)
