[Woodcarver] Relief Carving and where can I find instruction

Well, Thanks for all of the kind comments about my first try, but wow! I'd say the bar has been raised quite a few notches after looking at Bill J's new piece....not to mention Athena "rising fully formed from the shoulders Zeus". I want so much to learn more about carving. I suppose a person can teach themselves a lot just by doing it, but I also know that most woodcarvers know more than I do. Are workshops really expensive? And what workshops would any of you recommend that are focused on relief carving?
