Just went back to look again. Love the way you cut back behind the forms. You got a lot of mileage out of a two inch depth....and as I recall you are doing this all with hand tools, excluding sand paper.  Pardon my naivite, but do you join separate panels to acheive this scale or are there still pieces of solid wood this size available? If the latter is true where is the best place to get it and what are the scale limits? Thanks so much for sharing your work Alice.
