Hi Jan.. coupla things.. I wasn't really asking for votes.. that's why I put 
a smily face at the end of my Subject Line.

Sorry if the post was offensive to you or anyone else in the group...

In reality.. I don't know how many people know about the overall contest.. 
and I'm calling your attention to it.  It's not widely published... and it's 
a place to go to see some pretty darn nice carvings by folks in different 
classes.. Professional, Amateur and Junior carvers .  What you win in the 
Peoples Choice voting is maybe a book or two from Fox Publishing... so you 
are correct.. it's not worth stooping low enough to beg for votes.. but it 
is worth bring peoples attention to these nice carvings.  This is simply a 
Peoples Choice vote.

By now, Woodcraft/Fox will already have judged the winners in each 
category.. I don't expect to win anything.. but it's fun to compete and get 
your carving judged alongside your peers.
