[Woodcarver] Linseed oil, raw or boiled

I had went to a auction. They said linseed oil and my bid won. I got two cases of this oil. I did not know it was raw and they failed to mention the fact it was raw. This is the first time I have come across the oil in this form. I have always used boiled linseed oil. When I mentioned the fact I put boiled linseed on the stove , It is to warm it up a little. The boiled linseed works much better for me when it is a little warm. Thank you for the replies.
