Sylda,

Thanks for the nice words, it has put a big smile on my face. Glad you
like the design and
both Mike and I wish you the greatest of luck with your coming show.

For a classic Santa you might change out the holly for mistletoe, candy
canes and a bow,
a small bird as perhaps a titmouse, a cute Santa mouse, pine needles ...
There are lots of accents that would
work great. Some of the traditional, old world Santa carvers on the
list may have some
great ideas to share for accent ideas.

I don't want to tread too deeply on the list about our patterns ... Sure
don't want to
get caught doing any shameless self-promotion. So simply said as they
are digital
with any graphics program you can easily resize our design to exactly
the size
You want.

Again, thanks for your kind words and the smile :)

Susan

Susan:
We received our "Carving Illustrated" yesterday. I love your Santa face
pattern. I'm anxious to burn it, it looks fantastic. One of my
projects is
carving Santa faces on 12" plates w/3" rims. I only finished 2, but
have at
least 9 or 10 faces I want to do and now I have another one. Some of
the
faces I have aren't "Jolly" so I alter them and make them "jolly". In
my
opinion Santa should always be jolly. I'm so anxious to do this one I
may
have to do it and finish the one I've been working on later. I'm
getting
ready for a shows Nov 20 & 21 and Nov 27 that I would like to burn this
face
for. I have been burning like crazy -- my hands go to sleep & I have to
take a break (like now). Thanks, I'll let you know how it goes. When I
carve the face I may not put the holly on as I hate to carve holly ---
any
suggestions to make it easier?

Oh, about your patterns on internet -- what is the complete size of the
stagecoach? I love the Western package and will probably order the
whole
thing real soon. I usually burn patterns first and then if I feel
comfortable with it I'll try relief carving.

Your Heaven sent for patterns --- thanks millions!!!

Sylda
