[Woodcarver] Basswood Finish

hi lynn what u can do is take oil paints n then keepin
it as a wash this will give u a narutel finish n still
be able to tell it was made from wood.. Or u can also
use the water base pain then seal it as well.. 

or u can take linseed oil the color u want from an oil
base paint which is deluted so that its can be seen on
the project.
