lovely to hear from you rip,
winter or summer, spring or autumn is always a great time to carve, more so 
when the weather is cold as you do not feel the dust and chips biting your 
skin. enjoy it and you will become younger.  i had a great time and feel 
years younger, and very inspired. so much so that i've started a few 
sketches and carvings combining country art with city art .   cheers
