thank you for your emails.
the cultural exchange is work because people from the country are coming to sydney for our exhibition on 30th nov. so i am madly carving caricatures of the real characters i met there, plus the inspiring moments that the great space of the rural areas motivate us sculptors.  you cannot see the space until the wind moves the leaves, you can see the distance and imagine the space between, what we take for granted in the city and suburbs, like running water, lots of art galleries to visit etc, is not so in the bush, yet what they put together is so great because they know it so well, yet when you know it so well you do not want to work on it because you want new things. for me combining the scenery of the horses, farms people and art. many questions keep coming up, so my work is also becoming more and more inquisitive.

sorry to be so long winded, but my mind is whirling with so many ideas.
