[Woodcarver] Artistry in Wood (was BIG DOG is here ........)

Big Dog,

Yes, spending the full day was Heaven.  Especially since I got to hit a
"certain" vendor's area TWICE <BG>.  Thanks for the adaptor for the Colwood
handpieces... their great.  I've always like my DetailMaster, but I think
these are a definite upgrade for the unit.  I knew I could count on
"scoring" the next two books on my to-buy list at your area.  Then I found a
third.

It was great spending the day, but Yvonne and I didn't roll into Dayton
'till 1am Saturday so I missed Floyd Rhadicgan singing Friday night.
Besides that, ya know what I discovered?  Between new friends I've made over
the last year that were there, and old friends that weren't there last year,
a full day still almost wasn't enough. So, I've decided the only solution to
a dilemma like that is to be IN the show next year <G>.  I signed up for an
entry form, so everyone cross their fingers for me, OK?

Doug Evans and I ran into each other (literally) on my first pass, in the
first aisle.  Hustled over to Ol' Don's booth to get pictures of the three
of us modeling our WOM shirts. Doug, where'd you go after that?  It was
great seeing Floyd's CCA entries.  "Cool Kat" was great, but you gotta see
his assembly of pirates in a rowboat preparing to fire a cannon ;-).
Another bonus was catching up with Dennis Thornton and seeing his Keystone
Cops in-the-flesh.  Then there was Sally and David Nye... then there was
Desiree Hajny... then there was Sandie... and then there was a couple of my
students from NEWR... and then there was... <G>.

Yvonne and I had a great time!
