I would like to take this opportunity to say a few words about Larry "Big Dog" Yudis and his wife Carol.  I met Larry and Carol last year at the Doane Experience and I really appreciate the personal service and trust that they exhibit in their business.  
 
I live in Henderson, Nevada which is an area adjacent to Las Vegas, Nevada and  has very little to offer to wood carvers.  I really look forward to the Doane Experience each year as a tremendous learning experience and as an opportunity to examine and buy woodcarving supplies from a very knowledgeable person.   Carol and Larry Yudis have always been a pleasure to do business with at the Doane Experience and through out the year.
 
I really look forward to their warm and personal treatment when I do business with them and I recommend them without reservation.

Big Dog
When I first saw it, I recognized it was you.  The more I studied the details of the carving the more of the impression it made on me that you might be of Native American decendents.  Karl did an excellent job of capturing the your likeness.

Thanks, Lynn ..... Karl did a good job considering what he had to work 
with! :o)

When he gave the carving to me, I said, "Karl, this is all wrong ..... I 
don't have all that hair in back anymore."

He smiled slyly and reached under his table and whipped out a picture he 
had taken of me at some show. He said, "It may not be you now, but it was 
then!" And he was right, it was dead on according to the picture.
