I agree. I am not a photographer but do submit photos to be published. They
were happy with the 35 mm slides I sent them but when I sent my my first
photos from my digital they were very excited about the good quality. They
said it was even better than the slides I was sending them. Needless to say
my Pentax ME Super, with it's assortment of lenses, filters and doublers,
has been left in the drawer.

I believe the quality lens is most important. My Cannon Cybershot 5 meg,
with its Carl Zeiss lens, will accept all the other lenses from my 35 mm but
there has been no need so far.
