[Woodcarver] teak

I have made a couple of clocks using Teak and would not recommend it (IMHO).  It is very hard on tools (at least the pieces that I had).

Is teak a good carving wood?  I like hardwoods, so that’s not a problem, unless it’s like ebony or ironwood.
