[Woodcarver] teak

Bill and Wyndy......ive just carved a small bird in Teak and found it to be much like butternut.......quite surprising since teak is used on boats for decking.....i expected it to be as Bill observed....Hard.....but it really is beautiful when finish....the secret is to have sharp tools and periodically stropping habits.....Carve on and God Bless
