I would like to thank everyone for the compliments on my bark house carving.
This is a great list, not only for the wealth of knowledge it offers but
also for all of the motivation that comes from it.
Sylda - the child and rabbit carving was done in Butternut which I find to
be absolutely one of the best carving woods for in-the-round carvings.
Is anyone else hoping that Clive's wife will lend him a dress?
ALEX

Alex, Your house is like no other I've seen -- I'm envious of your
daughter-in-law!! We have some bark I'm hoping to try something like that
on -- mine won't be as good, but I want to try.
I greatly admired your child & rabbit some time ago, but have forgotten what
the wood is. I so admire the way the wood grain fits the subject.
Wish me luck with the bark house.
