Irwin:

I was going to tell you about the Old Joe web site but I see that has
been done. At any rate, I never use a pattern.  I carve the nose first
and then let everything else fall into place. I believe that egg carving
is a great place to practice different types of faces.

does any one know where i can get any patterns for carving on bass egggs
such as santas,caricatures,etc. any help would be appreciated
