[Woodcarver] Super Glue side effects

I use super glue on my cuts all the time. I checked with a nurse and she told me that "super glue" is in the same family of chemicals as the glue used in hospitals. We have "liquid bandaid" at home and the ingredients show that it is very close to the CA (super glue) that I use. Liquid bandaid is more expensive and does not set as fast as super glue. I don't worry about it getting into my system because it sets so fast I don't think it has time to get into the blood, plus the blood is trying to push out of the cut and the glue is just holding it back.
God Bless,

What I would like to know is what chemical are you introducing to your
system by using Super Glue on your open cuts? Has this been tested for
use on humans?
Sorry to be negative about this but wondered if anyone had checked on
this before!

Wow! The things I pick up from you folks.
I mentioned "cuts", on fingers, a couple weeks ago and someone
mentioned
using super glue on em. Well I've had this cut that's been getting
re-torn open for a few days now and it hit me to try to glue it
together.
I don't remember who gave me the super gluing cuts idea but THANKS.
It feels better already!!! ;-D
