Hi, Joe,

Those on the list who know me have heard my frequent rants about the
benefits of Betty Edwards' book. I incorporate a lot of the exercises
from her book into my carving classes and I love seeing those students who
swore they couldn't draw end up being able to draw out their own ideas and
design their own carvings. IMHO that is what teaching carving is all
about. It was "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" that got me into
drawing and then into carving. I have her to thank for where I am now. I
hadn't thought of using her video and workbook, but it's a great idea and I
think I will add that.

thanks,
