Oh Mary jo,
Why paint and cover the natural beauty of wood, give it a coat of sanding
sealer, and after it has dried, buff it with fine sandpaper and coat it with
clear floor wax, and when that has dried polish it up with a horsehair
(boot) brush. It will protect it and bring out the beauty of the wood.
