[Woodcarver] Alaskan Cedar

Hello Watson family, I have carved Western Red Cedar from British Columbia &
Yellow Cedar from here in Ontario, Canada. It is beautiful wood, but is a
little different to carve small details in because of the large cell
structure. I have found you have to just pay more attention to grain
direction than other types of wood & also the use of Kutzall, ruby & diamond
tip bits allow much finer detail to be achieved. Please check out my "Cedar
log" pages on my site for some fine detail carving on Cedar at
www.geocities.com/aruba692003/index.html
Thanks, Robbin
