Bob, my wife, kids and family chipped in and bought me the base model
for my birthday one year and I added the bottom spindle as a Christmas
gift(beats boxers and ties)--so basically I have the larger unit--I just
acquired in two steps. The bottom spindle is almost a must to do a good
job and v-tools and small gouges.
