Thanks, Dave, for sending this on the list mail. I have several of Susan's
books and have viewed many of her patterns, but had not gone into her web
site in that much depth. Now I know what I've been missing and will go
there for a much needed relief lesson. I've been doing only relief carving
as my hands are very weak and I need both on the knife. I'm doing Santa
faces on plates (doing my 3rd one) and have still art and an cliff dwelling
in progress. I have done the doll and mushroom book of relief to understand
the different types of relief; so I have much to learn. Thanks again. Sylda
