[Woodcarver] Does Gel-Stain go bad?

Hi everyone
Does anyone know if Gel stain goes bad?
I had a can sitting around for about one year, after I mixed it up it seemed
to work good as new. I was just interested if anyone knew the answer to this
question.

Keep it in a dry cool place during the winter
In spring open can and add some fertilyzer and plant it in a semi sunny spot
Should do well for ya LOLROFLMBO
All kidd'n aside as long as yhou keep the can closed  it should be fine for
4-5 year
