i take a piece of wood (as much different kinds as possible. drill a hole the size of any of my fingers and then put it on the lathe with the hole centered on it. after that i just turn them untill i have no wood leftletting them drop off on by one. to catch the rings i usually have a piece of round wood attached to the other side to so they wont fall. after that i will start another batch in different sizes or woods. i always soak them after that in some finnish stuff that i was told hardens the rings so they wont break to easy after. if you want i can make a small pictorial and put in the web.

Harry you never cease to amaze me. I like the variety of things that you try. I also like to try a bit of everything. you do some nice work. did you carve or turn the rings. the finish is beautiful. what did you use.
