[Woodcarver] Want to start carving

Greetings.  I sent this message to Bill Judt and he suggested that I post it 
for the group to comment on.

"I've been reading the newsletter for a while now and enjoy the camaraderie 
that goes on among the group.  I've been wanting to try my hand at relief 
carving for some time now but have mostly held off for fear of making the 
wrong tool set purchase and not being prepared for the necessary sharpening. 
  I'm leaning toward the Stubai full size tools but don't know whether one 
of the available sets is really the right way to go.  Do you have any 
recommendations on tools/courses/books/etc. for a beginner?  Thanks."
