I want to thank everyone for the postive comments on my last carving and
others. I keep a file named "motivating comments" of all of the encouraging
comments that come from this list. It helps to look at it to get ready to
tackle any serious carving. Sylda - I do not know if you read the comments
on the "Love that Hair/Hare" carving. It was my favorite too and probably
the most difficult. I have had it for a number of years but at a recent
craft fair (mainly selling hiking sticks and canes) I put it out with a
couple of other nice carvings. I priced it high (way above anything else
bein sold by anyone but probably not high enough) and did not expect to sell
it, but a lady came by and had to have it. I got a little sad as she wrote
her check (she even asked if I was alright with it). Anyway, that one is
gone and now all I have are the photos.
Does anyone else have a hard time selling their carvings?
ALEX

Alex, your carvings are great -- my personal favorite is the child and
rabbit. The wood grain in all of them is phenomenal, I can't plan wood
grain like that. I be looking forward to seeing more in the future,
although I don't think you can top these, but no doubt do many more just a
good.
God Bless.
