[Woodcarver] re:info

I am in the need of some information! Is there any carving classes on caricature carving in central Florida,I live 1 hr south of Gainesville and 1 hour north Orlando.
also im having problems getting bass,butternut,or most carving wood any body have any suggestions all help would be appreciated.                               thanks much Irwin
