[Woodcarver] Ivan CHAT, CHAT, CHAT

Hi all,
Watching the news, I'm wondering how many of you are in the possible path 
of Ivan?  It is looking sooo bad. I have a very good virtual friend In 
Louisana that I'm  extremely  concerned about. She isn't far from the Gulf 
and I met her thru buying her really nice cypress knees.  It's now looking 
like more states are in line for what they now say is the 3rd worst 
hurricane in history, a Category 5!

They are expecting a 20 ft surge or tide!  Isn't most of the coast land 
less than that above sea level?  And considerable land is that much below 
sea level with only a levee  and old pumps between them and the sea?  I'd 
like to hear from anyone affected, and if you are getting out?
I do hope all of you in danger evacuate.
I am praying for all affected by this and the last storms.  And  that they 
see that their animals are safe.

I hope you don't see this entry as frivolous. Would it be better if I said 
I'm so worried about all you carvers and your beautiful carvings and tools?
