My thanks to Dennis Moor for his great hospitality. It was a joy meeting
enthusiastic carvers from the list and elsewhere. Our neighbors to the
north are splendid hosts and Dennis sure knows how to throw a party!
Mike, great to meet you. Thanks for the kind words.
Apart from the joy of creation, I appreciate that, in a world that seems to
be more and more polarized, wood carving unites us--it steps across
national borders, social borders and political borders. Our hands may have
a few nicks and cuts in them, but they're UNITED!
Thanks Dennis and everyone who helps to bring us together.
