heh there Joe---missed you at the great Dennis Moor conference--make room for 
it next year and book early-----your concept of a travelling panel of judges 
would be a major boon to woodcarving competitions;the logistics could bog 
everything down but good organization with ground rules,2 or 3 teams that could 
alternate depending on geography;paid by the event organizers;this type of 
uniformity would improve the quality of woodcarving on this continent but also very 
important would reduce the amt.of backroom complaining that we all are 
exposed to;a certain amt. of which is justified---- Ivan's unity note the other day 
and very touching it was,could be even more enhanced-----why dont you run with 
this concept and make yet another major contribution to "WOODCARVING" in your 
own time---warm regards and hope this sets up some "LIST"
