Just cut down a VERY BIG  Black locust at my place
 is this wood any good for corv'n ????

 Down here in Tn locust is Very hard, after it dries it will throw sparks from a chainsaw chain. The wood has a deep green color. I have saw a few carvings made from Black Locust, Honey Locust is prefered for furniture.
