Actually, I do somewhat the same.  When I feel like it I do more than the
necessary toward housework; and when I don't I woodburn and/or carve all
day.  Too much of the time there are other things that MUST be done, but at
least half of the time I do as I please (much to my husbands dismay).  We
are both retired, but he isn't that dedicated to wood.  I don't have the
tent, but put items in consignment stores & do craft shows.
