Hi Ivan et al,

I am so happy that Ivan stepped in to discuss this whole matter of judging.  If the Olympics taught us anything they certainly pointed out the fallibility of judges.  The problem and the delight is that human beings are involved.  

I don't enter anything for judging not that I feel I would never get a nice ribbon or something but because the carving I do and the learning involved with each new project is done for the sheer joy of it all.
