ivan,
love your clarity, honesty and truth....refering to your earlier
email....hopefully most judgments are made from their souls for the carvers
that creat from their souls for many souls...
your emails may be the beginning of a new trend in the art history making
world. i, for one, will treasure your two novel suggestions and practice
them.
the times i have been asked to judge because of all the rules and
regulations took away the beauty of looking at the pieces as they stand in
their owners glory of instant creativity and delightful feelings. to me
there is no right and wrong in art, but to follow your heart is the golden
rule that we all seem to forget. the ones who follow their dreams, their
feelings their special moments of entering that special world of art is
where heaven lies. who ever you are, and in time someone may discover that
"in here" that is so clear in the language of the world. picasso took years
to go back to drawing as he did as a child.... even a genious like him is
affected by the controls that exist, in all facets of life, but we do have
the power to follow our "in here" feeling and your courage to say so gives
us all courage and reminds us to follow what is in our souls.
when we become over controlled we seem to be encapsulated in a world that is
so sad. yet when we do what our heart wants we are happy.
although not written in moses' two tablets am sure that jesus new he was to
be cruxified on a wooden cross, perhaps he chose timber as symbolic of the
tree of life.
cheers
maricha
