yes that the best stuff to clean off rust n after that
I would then run it on a grindin wheel to get the
pitting of then go over the knife with a oil to keep
it from rushing so fast..

Also thank u for the link as I had lost where I had
gotten the kano product called exrust.. I use it on
all my tools esp since I live here in fl n its always
damp n things get rusty fast here.

    Quite awhile ago, I bought a number of products
from Kano Laboratoriesincluding something called
Exrust.  I've put the nastiest looking woodworking
tools found at garage sales in this stuff for
overnight and when they come out there is not a spec
of rust.  Of course, there maybe some pitting once the
rust is removed but they are clean.  

If Idon't oil them right away, they start to rust
again since there is nofilm of any kind to protect

They sell from 1 pint to 55 gallon drums (hey, I could
do a few of mycars.....)
Their SiliKroil is also a great penetrating oil.

There are many ways to clean up a knife, what area is
needin to be cleaned also I can get the brush if u can
not find them also have them avaible for the dremal or
flex shaft..
    
What area of the knife are u wishin to have cleaned..
