Hey Bill
http://www.dremel.com/html/home_fr.html
This link will take you to the Dremel page with the service center add. A
link from that page pops up a price list for service. You will see return
shipping is free and there is a list of really old models they don't even
try. you will see a service center listed in Palm Springs. Robby
Dremel the grandson of the Inventor owns that location as a part of the
deal made to buy the patents and name, will take almost anything in to be
repaired or replaced and be very liberal on the warranty. I've only dealt
in person but know he has good will in mind even tho the Black and decker
corp has aquired the company name now. He has some of the original pieces
in his shop like toasters and other small appliances that the company was
founded on. If you have abt problems you could call him direct. He is
afriend of carvers and used to have a table at local shows.

No man or woman of the humblest sort can really be strong, gentle and good,
without the world being better for it, without somebody being helped
and comforted by the very existence of that goodness.
