Actually, I'm not sure that I'm "brave" at all.  About now I'm thinking of 
other adjectives, and brave isn't one of them!   Panic-stricken might be a 
good one! :)   But, I do welcome commissions because I think that growth 
comes from going outside of your comfort zone, and without the push of a 
commission, I'd probably just keep carving the things I know I can do easily.
Being a beginner is a great place to be.  A year from now you'll look back 
at your first carvings and be amazed at the progress you have made.  Even 
more, you'll think about all the enjoyment carving has given to you....and 
to your friends and family who have been lucky enough to be on the 
receiving end of your labors of love.     Good luck at your first craft 
show...and have a great time!...Now, let's both get away from the computers.

I'm off to do some more work on Athena.  I've added some new pictures if
