[Woodcarver] Bottle Stoppers

John:

I like to buy my corks already drilled. That makes it easy to install the
cork on a bottle stopper. The only place I am aware of that has predrilled
cork is Woodcraft. However, others may have it.

I'm about finished with my first bottle stopper.
What is the best way to mount the head into the cork?
Do I drill out the cork just a little and then carve the base of the
neck to fit into it??? and what type of glue that will hold??
Many thanks.
