Gee, just when I was getting back into the swing of carving I decided to
use a grinder that I have never used before, to remove a large nick from an
old knife.
Yup! Had to drive myself to the ER and have 10 stitches, (and the x-ray
guy says it cut into the bone) around the first joint of the first finger of
the right hand. Hopefully the bone will not get infected and they will not
have to remove the end of the finger.
What's that about finding out how to do something before trying it?
I now have the pictures up on the wall as a reminder to avoid future
stupid moves.
