[Woodcarver] Osage Orange

it is a great wood... beautiful colouring, dense ... to carve it is difficult, it needs to be carved  with short bevels or chisels similar to what michealangelo used in carving the carara marbel.  chipping away a little at a time. time consuming and if you have little patience frustrating. it can be done but be prepared to do a lot of sharpening, and a lot of chisel and mallet work.
