Hi Dick.. I took a polar bear class with Debbie Edwards and we did just 
that.. bleached it.  However.. it takes very strong bleach to do the job. 
You can get a good two part at Home Depot.. bleach it to the desired level 
with one part and then neutralize it with the other part.  I don't believe 
you will have any success with even household bleach.. much less H2O2.
