Dave, A 30 minute drive should be no problem.  We have members attending our 
New England Woodcarvers meeting coming from Maine (2-3 hours), Connecticut and 
Rhode Island (1-1/2 to 2 hours), New Hampshire (2+ hours), even from the 
Western part of Massachusetts members drive 2-3 hours.  I recently attended a 
Green Mountain Woodcarvers meeting in Morrisville, VT...3-1/2 hours each way!  
Enjoy the fellowship at the CCG meetings.   Rip
