[Woodcarver] Quick question

Jimmy,

I will be interested in this answer.  I always go for
the face or the hardest part first so if I make a mess
of it, I haven't wasted time on the other parts. 

A gentleman in my old carving club thinks that you do
the hard part last because after investing the time
and effort in the carving, you will try harder and be
more careful on the hardest part.

Maybe there are even more interesting theories out
there.
