I guess I kind of agree with Jack on this one. I too felt like it took away
from the overall affect of the carving. However, you are the artist and if
it pleases you that is what counts.

Nicely done, Dave! I think I'm with your wife on the "dead space"
though. I think it takes away from the overall effect. However you are
the artist and I don't know very much about relief carving.
