[Woodcarver] I'm hanging up my knives and scroll saw

cyber friends,

Sunday my wife and I gave her sister and husband a scroll saw portrait of Jesus in a picture frame for an aniversary present.  When she unwrapped the package, she looked at it, turned it upside down, stared at it, and said "why did you give me a picture of Michigan"?  

The next day, at our wood carving club, I handed a friend my relief carving of a small row boat pin (from the 1st issue of Wood Carving Illustrated) for him to critique.  I expected him to say "very nice", but he said "what is it?"

I'm ready to quit <grin>.
