Paul,

     Jan said Giraffe's had a long neck because their head was so far
from their bodies.

     Dick said it was because their mothers gave birth while standing.

     I said it was because their heads were so high that mother nature
couldn't make their legs long enough so had to ALSO make their necks
long so everything connected....

sorta like saying you're the right height as long as your feet reach
the ground.....
